Beautiful views: Only a few steps from
the Schloss park into the High Fläming
After resting a little while on the Schloss terrace, you will be ready to satisfy your desire for a walk. Down a few steps and you have reached the paths of the Schloss park - as the noble lords of the Schloss would have done in days gone by. The front part has been adapted from the garden architecture of royal times. Symmetrically laid flowerbeds and precisely cut hedges guide the eye along the paths to the far reaches at the back of the park. There you will find 3 small lakes to walk around and a fabulous tree population that provides pleasant shade in summer. From here, there are miles of long walking trails running through High Fläming Nature Park. One of these is an art walk where you will come across works of art and installations such as the tree sofa. Even if you would rather stay on the deckchair on Schloss terrace, it is a nice feeling to know that you can go for such a beautiful walk if you should so desire.
The Schloss park is public and is cared for lovingly by the community. But for the residents of the Schloss it is somehow "their" park.
